Kate Harris

Administrative Manager Extraordinaire

Kate brings over 25 years of experience working with children, young people, and families, with a background in education, leadership, and administration. During her many years as a teacher at the Perth School of Ballet, she worked alongside children and families managing diabetes and gained an appreciation of the importance of understanding and supporting their individual needs, as well as the impact that this has on their everyday lives.

Since joining Health Seeds, Kate has enjoyed developing her knowledge of diabetes education and has gained an even greater appreciation of the difference knowledgeable, compassionate, and individualised care can make.

Kate is passionate about ensuring that people living with diabetes feel heard, supported, and valued. She enjoys being part of a team that advocates for people to receive the care, education, and attention they deserve, and believes no one should feel overlooked when it comes to their health.

Kate firmly believes most days can be improved with a good song and the occasional spontaneous dance.
